It’s that time of year – everyone is planning their Thanksgiving dinners – where to eat and what to eat (it makes me hungry just thinking about it!) . . . and, if you’re like me, you’re also wondering what you’re going to do for Christmas cards this year. We love to send double sided cards with photos – our first year married the card had one of our wedding photos on it – even though we had gotten married in January. Hey, you can only use a wedding photo one year, right? The next year we bought our house, so we were sure to include the house (and the dog) on our cards. Then we started having kids. Last year we just had Ellie, so on one side of the card we had the whole family and on the other, it was just her. Because, really, who wants to see us now that we have cuties?! So, that’s the plan again this year (I think) – mostly photos of the cutie-pies and maybe one of the whole family. And since Grandma bought them some super adorable outfits for the holidays, I decided to set up a photo shoot with them (and Ellie’s friend, Edie).
It also occurred to me that I might not be the only one still trying to figure out what to put on those Christmas cards this year. So, I decided to offer some Christmas themed mini sessions for the kiddos. We’re doing it the Saturday after Thanksgiving (November 29) so you’ll have time to edit and choose images and order cards still before the holidays are gone!
