I have friends from church that are expecting their newest boy any day now (his due date is TOMORROW!). I was convinced that he would arrive today since there was a blizzard and it seems that all birth stories involve some sort of major weather catastrophe that made it difficult to get to the hospital … but I’ve not heard anything of the sort yet 🙂 Whether he makes his appearance today, waits until he’s evicted next week, or arrives sometime in between, I can’t wait to meet him! I even bought a new adorable outfit with little coconut buttons for him to wear at his newborn session <3
Soon after the last snow of the season (you know, the one that wasn’t in the middle of March) we had a maternity session here at the studio – or more accurately, outside of the studio. What amazed me about this particular maternity session is that there were 2 outfits, plus accessories, as well as a husband and son to capture in addition to mom . . . and from the first shutter click until the last only 22 minutes passed. Perhaps it was because it was so cold outside or that they were well prepared or just that they’re an easy-going family, but I’m very excited about the quality and quantity of the images I had for them at their viewing appointment – despite the short amount of time it took us to complete the session!
This is important to note for others as well because I’m feeling generous today 🙂 And since today is Pi Day (for those of you that aren’t nerds: 3.14=Pi and today is 3/14), this offer will be good from today through Star Wars Day (May 4 = May the 4th be with you). For any newborn session scheduled between today and 5/4, you’ll also receive a complimentary mini maternity session (30 minute session). Just so it’s clear – the newborn session does NOT have to take place in that time frame, just the contract signed and session fee paid. So, enjoy these images from their mini maternity session and contact me today to find out more 🙂
