I had a model call for a sitter session recently so that I could capture images of an adorable outfit for one of my favorite vendors. This little lady that modeled for me was A.Dor.Able. She was amazing to work with too – very personable and easy 🙂 Mom and dad did an awesome job of preparing her for the session (like getting her to nap early!). It’s cuties like this that make my job look easy. And seeing it in 66 seconds makes it look REALLY easy. Lol.
“What’s a sitter session?” you may be wondering. Well, it’s a milestone session after your little one is sitting up on their own (get it? they’re a sitter) – usually sometime around 6-9 months. This is often one of the sessions parents choose to include in the Milestones Collection – along with 2 other sessions. Many families choose to use their half hour sessions after their little one is (1) holding their head up on their own (usually 3-6 months) and (2) after they’re sitting up on their own. Then, they have the hour long session to use when the little bundle turns a year, and there’s time to include some family portraits in that as well.
Last week’s sitter session was an hour long since it was just a one-off, so they also got some family images (and don’t you love them?!). It’s never too late to book your milestone session either, so contact me ASAP! In the meantime, enjoy this session and glimpse into what a session looks like at my studio in just 66 seconds 🙂
