I always plan on taking an hour to capture all of the memories we might want from each portrait session. With families, it often takes nearly that amount of time, especially with little kids! However, for maternity sessions that involve mom alone, we can cut that time significantly: especially when it’s below freezing outside!
Cutting the time that we’re out in the cold does not mean that we cut the quality of the session! For this pregnancy session, it was just 13 minutes from the first shot on my camera to the last. However, the final gallery (below) is gorgeous and full of variety as if we’d spent the better part of an hour to create it all! It’s amazing how quickly you can move when you are motivated by freezing temperatures! Of course, if we had decided to change dresses part way through the session, that would have added a few minutes at least. Have a look at the session for yourself and let me know when we can schedule your maternity session – even in the cold!
Plus, bonus: when you schedule both your maternity and newborn sessions, I’ll gift you a family session when your baby turns 1! And, don’t forget about the special I have in February – you can read about it here.
